We are looking for an experienced Production Co-ordinator to support the business in achieving its objectives as we enter an exciting growth phase. This is a great opportunity to join a large global lingerie retailer based in Alexandria, bringing your experience in Product Development and Production with a strong skill set liaising with overseas factories, sourcing, negotiating costs, building relationships and managing timelines.


What is the role:


  • Management of sampling and production timelines across all vendors and orders, ensuring all critical timelines are up to date
  • Meeting key deadlines by all internal and external stakeholders for on-time delivery
  • Ensuring bulk product is delivered on time to meet global customer delivery windows
  • Assist in all facets of the QC process, across all stages of production (materials and product)
  • Item creation and maintenance in our system, ensuring complete data integrity
  • Assist in the negotiation of all MOQ's and MCQ's with vendors
  • Co-ordinate vendor performance reviews and assist in the allocation of vendors for new seasons with the design team
  • Co-ordinate new vendor set-up and maintenance of company vendor manual
  • On-time delivery of all samples for photo shoots and sales showings
  • Communication of any delivery changes to effected key stakeholders
  • Prepare reports for production and delivery updates

 The Person we need:

  • High Attention to detail and strong time management
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a robust understanding of cost structures
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Thorough understanding of lingerie/intimate apparel construction
  • Strong Computer literacy with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills - written and spoken
  • Be a team player and have a collaborative approach
  • Strong organisational skill
  • Accuracy with a good eye for detail.
