Bendon is entering an exciting growth phase with expansion taking place across a broad portfolio of brands. As part of this journey, we are looking for a Shared Services Supervisor to support the business in achieving these objectives.

What is the role:

Reporting into the CFO, the Shared Services Supervisor will be responsible for leading & supervising a team of five Accounts Payable / Receivable team members, whilst also having a hands-on element to manage a portion of the Accounts Payable ledger & associated processing functions.

This position needs to drive team performance with a focus on people management & process optimisation and will be an important interface with other business functions & management as well as external customers/vendors. 

Key deliverables across the team are accuracy, up to date transaction processing, internal/external service levels, vendor reconciliations, and timely debt collections.

The Person we need:

We are looking for an outgoing energetic person who can drive change and at the same time be involved in the day to day detail, as well as having most of the following characteristics

  • Has at least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Is technically strong in the end to end Accounts Payable process
  • Has demonstrated people leadership and workflow management expertise
  • Is experienced in coaching and team development
  • A team player with great communication skills
  • A process-driven problem solver who works well under pressure and meets deadlines
  • An innovative thinker capable of introducing and successfully implementing process improvements
  • Possesses Microsoft Excel skills at an intermediate level or higher
  • Ideally has prior JD Edwards experience
  • Other qualities include being organised, proactivity, the ability to prioritise and time management skills
